Based on Ply’s tests, while the A5 electric coffee grinder is under the cold start grinding[1], grinding 15g of coffee for pour-over took 19 seconds, and grinding 20g for espresso took 58 seconds.
In the meantime, there were no bean jams during grinding process. And the coffee grinder left virtually no retention even without using the RDT. Ply concludes that the overall grinding performance was impressive[2].
